Microchip PICkit™2 Development ProgrammerMicrochip's PIC micro-controllers are versatile components which can be used to create smart designs in a quick and easy way. They form an ideal basis for many hobby and professional projects. To load software into a PIC micro you need a programmer. Microchip's PICkit2 Starter Kit is a low-cost development kit with an easy to use interface for programming the Flash family of PIC microcontrollers. The starter kit provides all that is needed for developing applications. It is designed to quickly educate users in programming and evaluating the PIC Microcontrollers. The kit includes twelve lessons that cover I/O, Interrupts, ADCs, Data Tables & Timers. All source code files are also provided. Code development and debugging is performed using Microchip's MPLAB Integrated Development Environment (IDE), which has an easy-to-use graphic interface for rapid mode change between development, debugging and programming. The PICkit 2 Starter Kit connects to a personal computer via USB. New device support can be upgraded by updating the firmware from Microchip’s website. No additional power supply for the programmer or target application board is necessary. The kit plugs into development boards via the In-Circuit Serial Programming™ (ICSP™) technology and has a small form factor that takes up minimal workbench space.

You can place an order by simply sending an stating what you would like to order and the shipping address. Payments via PayPal are best if you would like to get your order quickly, or if your bank has high charges for an international bank transfer. PayPal accepts major credit cards, and a number of other ways to pay for your order. If you don't already have a PayPal account it can be created on the fly. Read also our shipping policy. ShippingWe will ship goods within 3 days after receipt of payment at the latest. But usually goods will ship the same day. Exceptions are goods for which a delivery time is indicated on the web-site. Postage and packaging cost depends on size and weight of the goods. In principle we ship at lowest possible cost. Many items are small and the order value is low. Therefore we ship those items using the Postal Service (TNT Post) as priority mail.
